What does a Naturopath do?

Naturopathy is a comprehensive and patient-centered healthcare system that emphasises the utilisation of natural therapies to stimulate the body's own self-healing mechanisms. Naturopathic practitioners are degree qualified and educated to address the underlying causes of ailments, going beyond surface symptoms for long-lasting wellness. Identifying the underlying cause requires in depth case taking and potentially pathology testing or referral to an allied health professional.

Drawing from an assortment of modalities including the use of food as medicine to promote health and wellbeing often alongside herbal and nutraceutical medicines, personalised lifestyle guidance, and stress management technique, naturopathy aspires to enhance overall health and vitality.

By honouring the body's innate capacity to recover, naturopaths are able to develop unique and adaptable treatment strategies that cater to the unique needs of every individual.
